Binder Park Zoo Trip

State troopers step up to give dozens of kids at the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission a day of fun!

The State Trooper Outreach Partnership–or STOP–went with the kids and parental chaperones to Binder Park Zoo in Battle Creek. The group was also treated to a picnic style lunch.

Limited funding prompted the gospel mission to consider canceling this field trip, but STOP got word of this and stepped in to make the field trip happen. State troopers talked to the kids to establish early positive interaction with law enforcement.
